You get used to it, but yes, they are hard to resist. :)

Absolutely. Good for your mom for putting the work in. I know it isn’t always easy, but the reward when they come around is amazing.
Yeah, well one thing I have learned in this business is that the needlessly cruel tend to also be really fucking dumb!
Yeah, our stories tend to be basic (stray/owner stupid but not dangerous) or insanely outlandish. We had a dog who as a puppy was born with some birth defects so his “owner” decided to tie him to the bumper of his truck and drive around in an effort to kill him. He was only successful in getting himself arrested and…
I mean, whatever, hope he is a good place for him now, but yeah, her story just doesn’t add up.
Yeah, I run a shelter and we usually can say a few things:
A lot of people generally blame things on abuse, but lack of socialization can have a huge effect. I do disagree though that there is a lot you can do to socialize pets even later in life. It takes work and time, but I have seen dogs left to rot in puppy mills for a decade come around eventually. They may not always…
At least I hope I am doing great things. :) It is a field filled with tough decisions. I am not sure I would have called her out publically, but damn do I understand the urge.
And this is what causes me to doubt her story. If this dog were really as bad as she says, why would you bring the dog everywhere? Also the part in her caption where he “pees into his mouth” threw me for a loop.
I rather he stay in and keep pulling the Republican Party down with him. I don’t really want his Lt Governor to get some executive experience and probably look decent simply because she isn’t this piece of shit and somehow she winds up getting elected. Then we have another 4 years of this crap instead of just until…
Well, not sure someone should have a good professional reputation if they greenlit this project.
It is truly mind boggling.
They are wrong on so many levels...racist, hideously ugly, and using people’s likeness without permission. I mean these weren’t made in someone’s garage, there had to be a million layers of lawyers, publicists, designers, producers, etc. and not 1 said hey, this is a bad idea?
I am not surprised they didn’t know better, but I am surprised there wasn’t one person involved in this whole process who didn’t understand this very basic issue.
To me it looks like it is meant to be shared. $42 for 2 people is reasonable for NYC in my opinion.
I read various different outlets while recognizing the issues with each source but I think it is important to see how the mainstream media is portraying an incident. Doesn’t mean I accept what they say as true.
