Yeah. The NY Times, in my opinion, did a decent job of referencing the history for context while clearly laying out how much it is very much history.

Their updating coverage article didn’t offer that. Just mentioned “notorious reputation” as few times without mentioning the fact that the mosque is run by completely different people now. I didn’t see anything as to source besides the CNN article.
Lovely.
Sadly not much.
CNN just keeps mentioning the “notorious” reputation without any real context or updating of the story. Disgusting.
Thanks. Statistics on this seem to vary wildly. Interesting that Discover’s numbers are so very much lower than actual estimates.
Do you think we taste like chicken?
Not entirely. Humans have historically not been a part of a shark’s diet. Most sharks east fish and small invertebrates; it is only the larger species that eat seals and larger prey. Only about a dozen of the over 300 different shark species have been involved in attacks on humans and almost all of those are…
Also, plenty of people have stage names, so even if she made it up, who cares? I know it probably matters for the defamation suit, but really why even print this crap in the first place.
And then slip in the blood and break something.
I would like to believe that perhaps the person wasn’t fired since both the official and unofficial statement very clearly do not say that. Just that this person won’t be “Mr. Met” again. Maybe this person was just transferred to another job in the organization and is over the moon about having to never wear the damn…
Having lived in Florida and Montana, I come firmly down on the pro-Montana, anti-Florida side. Florida just has a level of crazy unparalleled eleswhere. I think it is the humidity. And the air conditioning. Really going back and forth between the two.
Easy mistake to make considering Roger Stone was cut from the same rancid cloth.
The crazy thing is that he has been the Rep for 22 years. There is very little that will actually cause him to lose his seat so doing this is just extra petty.
And of all politicians, Senator Murphy has more than proven that he is willing to take action to solve those problems. Those actions have often been stopped by the actions of senators paid to do nothing by the NRA.
Can we just switch to calling these people “Pro-Fetus” now?
I mostly agree and would say start earlier than High School, but there is a part of me that would hate the version of civics that would be taught in public schools with the crazy conservative school boards out there.
And not just that it was public, but all the horrible things people said, the gossip, the lies. Probably not knowing what if anything is true. Just horrifying.
Oh most definitely agreed.
