This dude's reluctance to blame someone other the victims for rape makes me think he's sexually assaulted a drunk woman before.

I never claimed that drunk women aren't at risk for rape. In fact, I already said that alcohol is a common tool that rapists use. I said that removing alcohol from the equation wouldn't stop rape from being a problem. Rapists would use other tools instead. You're focusing on the M.O. instead of the perpetrators

Smoosh!

We already teach women these strategies. It doesn't work. Because most rapists are not strangers. They are friends or boyfriends/husbands. People that we trust and feel safe around. You can't teach women to avoid rapists at all times because they don't wear "I'm a rapist" tattoos on their foreheads.

Alcohol is one tool used by rapists it's not the cause. A tool that would actually be less effective if we stopped scolding victims for alcohol consumption. Rapists target drunk victims in part because they know people will disbelieve the victim is she was drunk.

Anger at oppression is different than anger at a marginalized group gaining more rights. You seem to be in the latter group.

It's just a total coincidence that most of the unarmed citizens shot by police happen to be black. Nothing to see here!

I believe that "PROTECT" would also only apply to the protection of the officer himself.

In the medieval times commoners could win lands and titles for doing the dirty work of the ruling class. Nowadays it's early retirement, wing-nut donations and Fox News "analyst" jobs. The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Good point.

Oh look. You're a misogynist as well as a racist. I got this gem from your comment history

I'm 34. I'm not young. When I was young I used to think that if people would just be nice and calm things would get better too. The older I get, the more radical I get. Not less. Telling people to coddle their oppressors does nothing but enable oppression. If you actually read up on the history of the civil

I do vote. This year I did hours and of hours of door knocking to get others to vote. But thanks for your concern.

I've always loved that poster.

I don't think she considers the killing of another human being the fiasco. It's that people want police to be held accountable for shooting unarmed black people that's the fiasco to her.

Now playing

Maybe if this comes from the mouth of a white man you'll understand this better. Skip to 1:07 to get straight to the point.

As if black men pulling up their pants or women covering their cleavage would automatically end oppression. Such willful ignorance.

And stop saying "but we have a black president!"
