I beg to differ.
I beg to differ.
From someone who works at an independent radio station, being a music nerd is the best nerd you can be.

Jefferson I think we're lost!
Radiohead are a extremely weird ground breaking band. Compared to even the Beatles, it's nearly unlistenable in a traditional rock and roll way. It's moody, filled with guitars that strum away in discordant changes with angular beats and bizarre instruments.
I didn't mind not having it explained. The aftermath and its effect on the people was good enough. But when Kevin started dying and shit, I needed some explanation. Just having random supernatural shit happen to people for no reason is terrible story telling.
They played the first show of the acoustic Schmilco set here and Nels got to extend more than I've ever witnessed. Jeff was visably giggling.
Sedated has a great one note solo.
I agree. He plays the pedals. And that's an achievement. He changed music for a lot of players. I'm not into the Christian rock thing but all those players owe him.
Ok I feel ok talking classic rock in your post.
Oh Impossible Germany but that's also because Jeff and Pats harmony lifts it to heaven.
I agree. It's great workmanship playing but you can see that in any great blues bar every night. The great Jimmy Thackery could rip that with a hangover. And I'm not really a blues guy
Prince was a really good player. His rhythm was the best, but his tone was sometimes shit. Great singer, dancer and songwriter. And…
And they thought about asking George Thoroughgood!
And Stairway To Heaven. It's simply iconic and I'm a really good guitarist but it's still difficult to play.
I have a towel team. They know where I am and have a towel vault in a secure ship ready to dispense towels at my Beck and call.
Honestly the most I enjoy music is when we rehearse. No outsiders to worry about, just pure music. I'm trying to bring that feeling to the stage.
When I'm solo I can. My mistakes are mine and I can just let go. But I front the band and engaging the audience is part of my job.
I envy Jeff Tweedy and most jazz guys for…
I personally think Rogers and Rod ruled the blues and RandB white guy world. To me Rogers with Queen is a weird but wonderful fit, simply because he just owns the songs like they're his. He's nothing like Freddy but still.
Wanna buy a record? Haha. You'd probably hate it. But maybe a tee shirt?
Ok whatever. The slightest bit of investigation and insight into how corporations run the government would prove me correct but I guess it's hard to see with you head in the sand.
They're still out there. They specialize in pop up shows now. Basically unannounced hose shows. You buy a ticket then the tell you the venue. They've played here twice this year and both times have been pretty freaking awesome. They were "Big Star" in the latter part of Alex Chiltons life.
As a professional musician, although obviously on a much smaller scale, I can at least speculate.
