Counter-counter-point. I, too, was an enthusiastic consumer of the originals (also, Ultra-Man), because they were cool, cheesy, fun. (A giant moth! A flying turtle!  Bad dubbing!). These remakes just suck all the fun out of the entire concept. Plus, they nearly all take place at night, and watching a nearly-entire…

They need to stop making these. All of the Godzilla remakes have been awful, if not unwatchable. This look no better. What was cool with the primitive special effects/costumes of the 60's does not at all translate to the CGI world. Just because you can reboot something with better technology doesn’t mean you should.
