I like how single family dwelling zoning laws are archaic and racist. Go ahead and compare an HOA-run neighborhood with those zoning restrictions enforced with a neighborhood without those restrictions. Tell me where you would rather live.

That’s funny. Following my doctor’s advice, I lost 40 pounds in a year by just by not eating after dinner. I really didn’t change anything else about my diet, and I never really ate terrible foods before bed. Usually it was something like popcorn, chips, yogurt, or occasionally cereal.
Yes, that definitely presents a different issue. You are correct about line of sight issues. Analog was more forgiving there. Maybe call one of your local TV stations if you are interested in getting it to work. Their engineers probably have a better understanding of your obstacles than I do.
As an engineer for a TV station, I may be able to help you with that problem. The issue isn’t the coverage area for digital vs analog, its the difference in the two signals’ wavelengths. For all intents and purposes, a TV tower broadcasting digitally will cover the same area as an analog tower.
Just use a digital antenna!
