Yeah, that's a tough one. My dog could not even lay upright after the stroke, so there was no question. I would say depend on your vet to give you the truth. If their quality of life is bad or they are in pain constantly, then that determines a lot.

That has to be the worst thing to have to do. My black lab had a stroke and I had to take him to the vet to get put down. Cried like a baby as he took his last breaths. My thoughts go out to you and your greyhound.
