Dad spent 25 years at an oil field. They would regularly “re-interpret” engineering plans so they would actually work. But only if they liked the engineer. otherwise they would follow the plans to the letter.

Mass is the only state where I’ve seen someone go through a tollbooth, get several hundred yards beyond the booth, and then proceed to come to a dead stop, chuck it in reverse, and back through the booth again.
It’s not a lack of courtesy. It’s complete stupidity. NY drivers may be mean, but CA drivers just plain can’t drive.
Yeah, but it pays off all those times the oncoming car doesn’t, in fact, stop.
There’s no way this is accurate. Massachussets should be right behind New York. They didn’t get the cheerful nickname of “Massholes” because they are great folks and courteous behind the wheel.
How about people who have right of way and still try to wave you in. That’s some next level annoying stuff right there.
