This just confirms how weird it was that they didn’t switch to USB C in the latest iPhones.

Android fanboys spent the last 3 years suppressing their jealousy about Apple devices.
Similar situation here.
There is a NY Times, I believe, article out there that talks about the cost of road construction in the U.S. versus the rest of the world. It’s a good read, and presents some pretty solid examples of out of control union requirements as well as the negative impact of those requirements.
This headline is amazingly confusing. I thought they were going to pay Lyft drivers to not use their cars.
Did you even read any of my original post?
Crazy that you see wild inefficiency as job security. Those labor costs get eaten by someone, and it’s not the company.
What amuses me is your position is “Let’s protect needless work” instead of “How can I make a process more efficient?”
One summer day I made a stop at the hardware store to get a propane tank refill for my grill and then another stop at the pool store for a couple of cases of chlorine. On the drive home I thought, “There’s a possibility this could turn out very badly.”
Here is my reason for not always liking Unions.
Literally one of my worst cargo related fears. I transport propane tanks with some regularity inside my SUV and this extremely rare scenario is constantly running through my mind. It’s why I always keep the rear most windows open when transporting propane tanks if I can.
lol this is a joke, Unions driving innovation and advancement haha. Please try and cite an example where union workers have driven significant innovation in anything. While companies might be “evil” for caring about investors and customers that’s more than the union can say which only cares about itself.
“A union is always better than no union”
Unions had a purpose many decades ago. They're nothing but a cancer on the American workforce now
This. So much this. I’d like to add cost to that. I commute to Boston every day for work, 50mi round trip. I do it in my ‘12 GMC sierra and I average 17mpg. The commuter rail is also 1mi from my house in case I want to take that.
Public transit would be the best way for most people to get around every city, and most suburbs and towns, if only it were good enough, both in terms of time and comfort.
This is such a Brad comment.
That guy’s career is definitely all washed up.
That’s a dick move, no matter how hot it is.
Counterpoint: That guy’s an asshole and your nice write up wont be enough to wash away his sins.
