Yes, perhaps these people who work manual jobs living paycheck to paycheck (some with kids, some with learning and mental disabilities) could just all get some student loans, go to college while working full time and raising those kids and get specialized degrees in hopes that they too can move to another country.

I said in another comment thread above that she didn’t deserve ruin or to have her work destroyed. I do think critical dialogue is an important thing, that is what I referring to.

I can’t speak for pibber, only relate from my experiences. It could depend on the circumstances. Bonds even through adversity and low points of mental health remain strong. Most people go through go through epic arguments in our romances and families, so I can’t see friendships as being far removed from that.

I wish I knew the limits myself. I grew up rather sheltered, so I have to decipher between what’s right, what’s wrong, what’s hurtful because it can go into a very nuanced territory that I may not be aware of. Dana Schutz may be parsing through that too. Only time will tell.
