This suit(The most epic of all the Nudie suits)and Gram have been my little obsession for years. May the universe bless you for posting this!

I have nothing to add. Only that I found your observation of mid-20th century writing and writers to be so true.

Naomi from “Mama’s Family” wants this look back as well.

You mean the one that is also tone-deaf and making light of a very real, very necessary, very serious movement for black people who feel their lives are in danger 24/7?

On the bright side, Michael, this whole craft beer thing has reached its peak. Chances are that this company will be bankrupt by the end of the year.

This is one of the prevailing reasons why people like Terry Richardson continue their success. The industry is rampantly dictated by oppressive and culturally outdated standards.

You would think so, but just last month in the print issue(Dakota Johnson on the cover, page 171), they have a photo shoot with a white woman literally using two black children as props.

I was thinking that Kellyann’s outfit looked like it was from the fashion show at the end of “Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead”.

When you are finished with your meditation, I recommend putting on “Taking Tiger Mountain(By Strategy)“and grooving out.

Our most handsome Commander in Chief...just look at that photo of him next to George Clooney.

This poor Kentucky gal has much envy for you. Keep being awesome and setting good examples, California!

I will listen to this when I get the chance. Thank you for the link. I read a bit about the background story of the song in the book about 78RPM collectors “Do Not Sell At Any Price” by Amanda Petrusich.

A teenage Weegee (cis female),wanted to be Polly Jean(that voice alone), dressed like Cave, and would have been thrilled to snuggle with either. 😊

Brilliant! I’m in the grays, but I’ve posted a few of my favorite roots/blues stuff in this vein. The sound of early recorded music already has a haunting quality, adding the subject matter of some of the songs only adds to it.

In my estimates, yes. It is a great cover of a classic murder ballad.

The video to this song is a pure fire and delight. I had a promo poster for the single in my typical 90's teenage goth bedroom. I could never decide which one I wanted to be and which one I wanted to......you know.

Or to read the brilliant and creepy story “A Good Man is Hard to Find” by Flannery O’Connor. <3

I’ve got to throw my hat in the ring and give some love to the Blues:
