About point #1- Unless you were already famous, do you think anyone would buy your podcast? With practically unlimited free podcasts, I don’t know who is buying them, even if buying was an option.

This is why the NFL needs a slight rule tweak- on review the refs need to be allowed to just make their best call upon reviewing the play, they shouldn't be required to stick with their original call unless there is overwhelming evidence that it was wrong. Because of that rule, they have to call what they think

Being willing to vote against one’s self interest is a great virtue. Now, don’t do it blindly, but vote for what is right, not what is best for you.

As a US citizen, no- I don’t pay any taxes to the Bahamas.

Uber didn’t displace taxis because tech bros built Uber- Uber displaced taxis because taxis suck.

Why would he get demolished playing behind the 5th ranked offensive line in football?

This is why all modern browsers highlight the main URL you’re actually at.

Maybe I’m being to US centric, but I feel like it has to be Neil Armstrong. I feel everyone in the educated world knows who he is, and even more-so, will continue to be known in the future. Even if man spreads out among the stars, Star Trek style, he was still the first ever to walk on a different world.

I swear the internet is full of people with the worst stomachs imaginable. Taco Bell and JITB should not be causing gastronomical incidents. Eat some yogurt.

Is it evil week already? Seems a little early for that.

Notice the author of this piece both makes fun of someone for asking a question and doesn’t bother to answer the question. If I was a better man (and I am! Who wants to bet me?) Chris can’t answer this question.

While all of this is true, I think you’re leaving out an important part- if you were in orbit around the Earth, when you weren’t in the shadow of the Earth you’d get really, really hot. The ISS is heated up to about 250 F in orbit, and relies on cooling so that things don’t bake inside.

Imagine thinking that this is a story- that members of the USMNT didn’t respond to a blog asking them to comment on a current case.

There’s good arguements to be made that the USWNT is under paid- but this is the worst arguement. If the USWNT played the USMNT, I’m pretty sure the USMNT would win, handidly. So, should we base pay on that? Or, is number of goals score a meaningless metric?

There was a lot of weird stuff which happened, but more w/ the accusers mom than the accuser herself. The mom was a scumbag who faked evidence. Does that look bad for the accuser? Sure. But it wasn’t actually the woman.

This one doesn’t have visual mapping, so it will clean in a random pattern and miss stuff. And if you have much in the way of chairs, etc it will likely get stuck and need your help getting it out. All of the discount robot vacuums are like that, not just this one, but know you’re not getting the one which can

I don’t think so, because the controller is part of what makes it work. The controller connects to the internet, not to the Chromecast, and sends your commands straight to the Stadia server.

While that’s true for regular cars, these are very special, order, limited release vehicles.

Yeah, literally the only thing people are basing their draft rankings on is the media draft rankings. Everyone mocked the Browns for taking Mayfield #1 last year, but maybe- just maybe- there were other teams which saw what they saw and planned on jumping on him.

It’s not Uber and Lyft’s fault that taxis suck. There was a need left by the fact that, almost universally, the service offered by taxis was terrible. Long gone is the day when the taxi drivers actually know their way around a city. Now, if you hop in a taxi, you also have to be their navigator. And god forbid you’re
