Are you saying “being offended doesn’t make you right” is a repackaged Ben Shapiro catchphrase. So... is Ricky Gervais spouting Ben Shapiro catch phrases too?
Not everything is a dog whistle. People have been mocking “millennials” for longer than Trump has been in office and will continue to do so long after he’s gone. People have been saying “city slickers” and “young people” are soft for generations. There is a big difference between “stupid and clichéd” and “right wing…
So, “sealing in the juices” is obviously bullcrap- but there is an argument to be made to not rest your steak. The argument is two fold- first how juicy something tastes is not only a matter of how much juice is in the steak, and secondly, the juice doesn’t go to waste even when it comes out.
Searing a steak does not seal in juices- that being said I do agree that resting steak is an abomination
You realize you are what you’re complaining about? You wish that your parents weren’t surrounded by a lot of other people- that their private space was larger. And yet your entire post is about how people shouldn’t feel entitled to this.
“Of course the ideal is having your own space. Housing prices are ridiculous and will remain so until the government gets involved, which they won’t.”
Yes you can. But you don’t just magically be redeemed because it was a long time ago. The first step of redemption is heartfelt apology. He didn’t even get there.
Obviously I can’t know with you specifically, but it really makes me laugh that every time there is a gutsy choice that works and one that doesn’t, people come out to explain why the one that worked was the right call and the one that didn’t was the wrong call.
I’m not going to sit here and say that the American Red Cross is perfect or that the local charities suck, but there is a common fallacy I see come up a lot that this article makes:
Where the instant pot shines, IMO, is on large roasts. Pot roast, pork tenderloin, etc- even with the pressurize/depressuring cycle you’re saving a lot of time. So I use it to make straight up roasts, or dishes like Ropa Viejas.
Because the head unit will work with your steering wheel controls, car microphone, allow you to control your radio and use the car’s GPS antenna if available.

It’s not that “winning” is fun, but playing to win is fun. Not at any cost, and not by being an asshole, but sports where people are just “having fun” and not trying to win are no fun for me. I like to drink beer, and I like to play sports, but those two activities don’t go hand and hand for me.
First off, of course people shouldn’t yell at refs and bully people while playing rec-sports. But they shouldn’t do that at any level of sport- it has nothing to do with the fact that the game “doesn’t mean anything.”
The main use of the WiFi is that you leave the meat in an ice bath, so it stays cool, and then you turn on the heater about 30 minutes before you normally would, as it takes an extra 30 minutes to heat up the water.

Wait, when you’re in crawling traffic you are only a second behind the car in front of you? So like, two feet away? That’s a terrible plan. Going slower doesn’t help with reaction time.
So I get the deaths matter in universe, but when you have people claiming (like in this article) that this was such a bold move my Marvel to kill off all these people- when we all know they’re coming back, that’s what gets me. There was nothing “bold” about it.
You know it’s true because the tore into Brady and Kraft for being Trump supporters.
Yeah. Asking him to play WR is dumb. But so is the argument “he is a Heisman winning QB, so asking him to play WR is dumb”
The confusion about what is a catch in the NFL is almost exclusivly caused by commentators saying “No one knows what a catch is!” The rule is not that hard to understand (and despite what people say, the rule is not different in or out of the end zone). Yes, there is some subjectiveness to the rule- but there’s no way…
