That’s absolutely true. But it’s the direct connection that gets me. Writing a scene that is, by all accounts, extremely powerful and brings you into the perspective of the woman raped and makes you feel her anguish, when he himself did that.

I still can’t quite wrap my mind around the fact that two men who raped a woman then got together years later to write a scene where a woman is raped and traumatized, specifically crafted to evoke extreme sympathy and fury in both viewers and the main character himself.

With over 1 million Cuban Americans in Florida alone and a whole lot more who have a visceral hatred for the country and think Obama made a mistake overturning the embargo in the first place...it certainly should.

Because, among other reasons, they like their guns, they hate muslims and mexicans, they think women are uppity, and Hillary has a vagina. I could go on but I realize that was probably a rhetorical question.

I said this somewhere yesterday but it’s not about his core anymore — they wouldn’t turn against him short of anything less than him being a transwoman. It’s about the people who don’t like Trump but are voting for him because he’s a Republican and they figure he’s better than Hillary or they just don’t want a…

I assume they’ll cover it later because it really is a bomb shell if true. Especially that right after he did it he spoke to a group of Cuban Americans about how important it was to never violate the embargo. Can’t wait to see how he spins it.

It’s really pathetic that this barely even budges the needle at this point. More tales of Trump’s sexism and views on women as objects for his pleasure? Must be Thursday.
