Perhaps that people actually read the comments on GM sites so it has more impact? I have colleagues who have refused offers to work with Jezebel because of a combination of the comments and the site’s reputation.

Perfect that will save me time. I already send some to him every Tuesday.

We already have the Buffy the Vampire movie we deserve.

Defiantly means disobediently (you are told not to do X but do it anyway because you’re American and an asshole). Definitely means for sure.

This is an awfully intense and elaborate response from an underpaid, understaffed police force that has neither the time nor resources to address the high rates of crime in Rio for its citizens.

There are also body differences — testosterone has a big role in it, no doubt, but it's not the only reason men and women compete differently.

Agreed

Lol I have a PhD in biology I think I have a pretty firm grasp of the concept of hormone levels.

HOW did I not know this gala existed. I am so happy right now

That's why we have separate categories...

Are there any athletes out there competing above a 6.0 because they are predisposed to conditions that would raise their T/E ratio?

She is a product of evolution. Whether she can continue to pass that down the line is irrelevant.

I don’t have an answer to that unfortunately. I just recognize the bad ways.

Yes, I know that people artificially use testosterone so a high level would trigger scrutiny. I am talking about men with elevated levels for natural reasons (adrenal tumors, for instance).

Do you have examples? Googling this pulls up mostly articles on women so if there are male examples I'd be interested to read about them

It’s not because you should get the expected privacy when Yoj order something online. I’m sure it’s hard for her to shop in stores privately at this point — she should be able to assume that if she orders something online with discretion. What if it had been a vibrator?

Why? Being the sole caregiver for a child whose father abandoned her because he is unstable makes her a far more sympathetic figure than someone coparenting a kid.

Hormone levels are a ridiculous way of determining this. If a man has low enough testosterone, can he then qualify for women’s races? If someone has astronomical levels of testosterone due to a medical condition, what, is he out of men’s races and forced to compete as super human? And that absolutely nauseating
