It’s amazing that that her neighbors/doormen remember exactly what Heard’s skin looked like on an specific day more than a week prior. And how observant they are that they were able to do a quick scan for bruises beneath makeup as she walked by. No amount of evidence she can provide would possibly compete with that

I reject the specifics of your analogy because it disparages Kraft Mac and Cheese, but I fully endorse the idea.

I get people not liking Clinton but do you really think you can even put her platform and that of Trump on the same spectrum? I fall way to the left of her but will gladly vote for her in the general — I feel like “lesser of two evils” is really selling short how absolutely terrifying Donald Trump’s platform really is.

I bet it does. Not for Bernie supporters, but for Clinton ones. Sucks.

That’s interesting because I’ve never thought about genetic diseases in that now completely obvious light — that because it’s coded in your DNA you would not be the same person, not just in a “not having the condition” sense but in a “who you literally are could be entirely different” way.

Thank you, sincerely, for sharing your story.

Ah OK, got it. Yes that kind of detail is important as it goes beyond the experience of a normal paraplegic but I caught the error from another commenter as well. Thanks for the clarification.

No. I misread the above article (which I did hastily, apparently) as saying that an actor (who is a quadriplegic in a wheel chair) was protesting the fact that an adult character capable of making his own decisions who had a progressive disease had decided on assisted suicide.

I 100% retract, I misread.

Nevermind, my bad

I’m leaving this because deleting things sucks (and people have already replied), but I misread the main article and this first paragraph doesn’t apply to the character in the movie at all. My mistake:

Or just let him swim in the Rio olympics but make him wear gear that keeps his mouth open so he ingests all of the toxic river water and develops a case of diarrheal illness so severe that he spends the rest of his life on the toilet far away from the rest of humanity.

Also (as someone above mentioned), it makes them much more recognizable in real life. This shit heel will go back to smiling and looking like that as soon as he’s free. Since we can’t brand him with a scarlet R, the least we can do is show what he’ll look like in the wild.

High because it’s history and everyone wants to say they remembered watching live when GS definitely cemented their place in history. And i’ll bet at least 85% of viewers have no idea that the games are shit because they’ve never sat down and watched a basketball game before

There is something that makes him seem particularly sociopathic to have that smiling photo above the details horrible crime he committed. The lack of empathy lurking behind the surface of a happy, seemingly all american, (white) boy makes it somehow seem even more unexpected and horrifying that he did it.

Always strange to find out there’s real terminology behind these things. I’ve never ridden a bike with clips (Er, clipless), so I had no idea what they were called. Weird.

Before the clip, exercise bikes (and some real bikes) had little straps that you tucked your toes under to keep them on the pedals — same problem of trapping your foot in place when you fall. It’s not a new idea at all, it’s just supposed to make riding easier.

I didn't say he should bow out but you're acting as though people are upset because he's championing the democratic process which is demonstrably not the case (by conclusively stating that he seeks to overturn the popular vote).

Who's a good dog? Who's a good dog? THAT DOG
