Am I the only person who thinks a year of parental leave (paid or unpaid) is a bit exorbitant? As an employer, I think six to nine months would be my upper limit. A worker would have to be pretty dang skilled/irreplaceable for me to be willing to either institute mandatory overtime or hire a temp for a whole year.…
