It takes a while to get going, but Season 1's second half was a vast improvement, and the climactic duel was incredible, not least for making it totally plausible that a blind person defeats a sighted one.

Mid to late 90's, maybe even very early 2000's, Tim Robbins would have been perfect for Reed Richards. Gwyneth Paltrow would have been a good Sue Storm back then too.
