The engineers pointed out the problem to management once.

Saved by the Panel Gap!

Imagine being such a Tesla/Elon fanboy that you’re willing to risk your OWN FINGERS to try to pwn the haters. That’s borderline Jonestown stuff right there.

There’s a guy on X trying to call these tests FUD because he closed his Cybertruck’s frunk lid on his hand and his fingers didn’t get chopped off. It’s hilarious:

Electronic door latches are also stupid

Well, it makes sense if they’re not going to do a “truck” version of it. No need for the differentiator between SUV and Truck in the name

Huge Golf II Country 4x4 vibes regarding the design. Kinda like a nice modernization of VW design.

Disagree with the rotating mass comment. Radial engines have lower rotating mass than inline or V engines of similar displacement. This engine likely has a 700 ish cubic in displacement and a Big Block Chevy would have a higher rotating mass because of the giant crank and the need for a flywheel.

I can understand why automakers are worried about their endgame ( profits ) while the EV transition is happening. I get it, it’s going to cost them money. And it won’t be easy.

That said, they should have started that transition decades ago. But they did not. They kept churning the same ICE engines year after year,

CarMax Won’t Give You MSRP For Your Cybertruck

I can promise you air suspensions road vehicles can work just fine. If your car can stock do something like poison spider/hells revenge, there really isnt more that it needs to do. Mine doesn’t even have thelocking rear.

I hate teslas, but the only thing I see in this videos is that it looks like the center locker

Joke’s on you, because the Macan may “start” at $80,450, but the actual “start” button is a $15,000 add-on. If you’ve ever tried to spec out a Porsche you’ll understand.

I routinely reference ‘Waterworld’ and know one ever knows what I am talking about.

I would argue that this is impressive and loving it is fully rational.

You’re kidding, right? These look like concepts other automakers showed back when EVs were not a thing.  This shows nothing of them being remotely serious. They are if anything very far behind.

This just reminded me that the MC20 exists. Man this is a pretty car, in person it has presence.

I think the average enthusiast can still appreciate the design, engineering and craftsmanship that goes into a car like this.

Cops have killed a variety ‘good guys w/ guns’, including this year; b/c not only do they not know the difference, they don’t care to find out if ‘guy w/ gun’ is good, not when they have a golden opportunity to kill someone.

Input as someone who owns the current one and is interested in this:

Driving isn’t a right, it’s a privilege. You have to prove that you are capable of operating a motor vehicle. You have to prove that it is registered with your state. You have to prove that you have insurance. Those are things you do every day, under varying levels of scrutiny from government. You already can’t be
