I agree and understand what you meant

For pete’s sake, 3 of these are notoriously expensive to maintain.  The G37 would be the enthusiast’s choice I think- my old boss had one and it was comfy and rapid.  IMO, the LS is too big and thirsty for a daily.  My choice would be an ES350.

I’m wagering that a large part of it is simply scalability. I doubt they actually lose $33k every time they sell a truck. The $33k number likely just comes from their revenue minus expenditures divided by number of sales. Meaning, if they sold one additional truck, their expenditure would increase by $80k (or whatever

Nah, the Kia & Hyundai look stellar.

Most likely the dealer bought insurance to cover the value of the car should someone make a hole-in-one, but those insurance policies have exclusions for “ringers”.

When I worked at a dealer group a few years back, one of my responsibilities was buying insurance for hole-in-one cars, and we actually had someone win a car at one of these tournaments. The prize was an A3 cabriolet, though the insurer allowed the winner to use the insured value toward an Q5 and he paid the remainder

I loved and still miss my ‘08 5 speed manual rabbit. It’s still in my area and I’m sure I could track down the owner. I’ve dreamed about buying it back and EV converting it. An EV Rabbit would be an outstanding platform for an inexpensive, short range, hot-ish hatch. Give me 3200 lbs, 150-200 miles of range, a Tesla

yep, cannot beat a T-gul

So many great options and cars to choose from. But this actually pops in my mind when I think about the ONLY right answer to a specific car. Gorgeous call.

Volvo 240. The wagon should be brown, but the sedan simply must be this gorgeous, creamy yellow.

You’re all talking about the D pillar. Anyway, the only thing I don’t like in the current MDX is how the rear window angles upwards. This is more of a small/economy crossover trait. Look at anything midsize and higher-end like an Audi, Volvo, MB, even the CX90, and the base window line is nice a straight which looks

Which is weird since they’ve already gone that way with the MDX.

That looks so much better.

whatever is happening between the C and D pillars looks very hearse-like with that black roof

I have to admit, I think I like the standard headlights better. Maybe I’m getting done with the retro look.

I really like those round headlights. But even the standard ones look really good with that front end. 10/10 Toyota great looking vehicle.
