Anecdote is not data.
Fair.
The company. The rebate comes off the sticker price, so it theoretically* results in lower down payment or payment costs, and is then amortized over the life of the vehicle. At least that’s how I understand it.
Yes a lease is a commitment, but generally speaking people who buy cars hold on to them longer than people who lease them. It makes more sense to own in most cases, but with the technology and competition in the electric vehicle market, it’s possible that a electric car will depreciate more quickly and that a lease…
When the Sport Turismo came out I thought it was my dream car. But in the passing years I’ve come to realize that it is not a good looking car. The Panamera has been vastly improved since the hunchback days, but the Sport Tourismo has not. It’s too bad because under the metal it was a great car.
Yeah those are safer for everyone. Maybe they’ll get some now.
Well it’s a good thing that cars that are out of control follow speed limits!
Thanks - I was looking for a pic of the barrier. That sloped design is to blame for sure. I realize it’s there to prevent a head-on impact but someone should have realized that a head-on collision with a barrier is better than launching a vehicle into the air where it could kill others.
I wonder what role the median design had in this. Medians should not be launching cars in the air.
I think calling this a Volvo is a stretch. This is just brand-engineering, and it’s a terrible thing for the brand. It’s what we all feared when Geely took over; Volvo has become a trim level to a Chinese car company.
$2 million for every month in jail? Seems like a pretty good deal to me.
I haven’t tried all the chips on this list but I have to object to Xochitl being #1/2. Yes, they have good flavor but they are so thin that half the bag is lost to breakage. And they don’t dip or top well, except for very thin salsa (of the same brand, which is very tasty).
The manufactured outrage over this stuff is getting tedious. A taco dorado isn’t the same as a don tono is not the same as a Big Mac taco. Anyway, it’s all just mixing of culture and cuisine, as it has been since the beginning of food.
Forgot to take the cinder block off the accelerator, obviously.
“when everyone’s on a budget”
No, no they don’t. Vegans don’t “deserve” anything. If they choose not to eat animal based products, they should not expect anything labeled as cheese or meat substitute to approach the real thing. This is just another case of “whataboutmeism” when people complain that they can’t have what everyone else is having…
This site isn’t for you. Move along.
That’s slightly less exciting than what I had hoped.
