So what kind of minivan do you drive?

It’s a shame that this happens - and it’s a good reminder not to buy cheapy stuff, and always charge properly. That said, other than better electronics certification, I’m not sure what can be done about this. These things are ubiquitous at this point, and they solve a real problem for a lot of people who don’t live

It is customary here to imply that crossovers/SUVs are inferior to every other type of vehicle (for any given purpose, while denying that they might be better at anything or all-round) and that the vehicle choices of those who buy them are wrong. It is also customary to suggest that anything with 4WD will just be seen

I’m getting Ford Explorer vibes from the rear 1/4.

I can’t. She’s dead.

I smoked Camels for years. I didn’t get cancer (yet) but I didn’t collect the Bucks either. At least you got something.

It’s been a long time since I’ve been in law school but the Statute of Frauds doesn’t seem applicable here, since this was an ad that extended an offer, the acceptance of which could only be done through performance. No?

How much Camel Cash does it cost for chemotherapy?

Fundamentally it comes from being involved in a career the success of which requires other people’s approval. If you are liked, you are successful, if you are not, you are a failure. It’s a fucked up business. It’s no way to raise a kid. And with social media, it’s gotten even worse.

Those sites include private property - even just people who own a lot or a farm or whatever who rent space for tents. Prices can be kinda high but could be a good option.

I would move to Chile just to justify owning that car.

Have you looked at sites like Dyrt and HipCamp? I haven’t done it but it seems like a good option for finding places to camp.

The chart shows units sold, not price. But yes, people do sell lots of RVs - the prices for used ones go down precipitously.

House prices dropped so much it was just cheaper to save on gas and buy a house wherever you wanted to camp.

If by #vanlife you mean people who are giving up their house/apartment and living 100% out of a van, maybe. That’s always been a small segment of the market and really only made possible and popular by social media, where people can actually make a living by being #vanlife influencers. I’m not sure what the future

New HRV looks like a Macan.

…said the guy without any kids.

Driving like a Honda doesn’t really mean much, especially when it comes to their crossovers. But this is also the platform on which Acura will build its ZDX, and Acura has (or at least is trying to have) a reputation for being sporty luxury. I know I wouldn’t want an Acura that drives like a Buick. Looks like I’ll be

Ok this machine is dumb. But actually, it’s very close to being very smart. A standard car that can attach to a flying platform actually makes a lot of sense; it could be the car it needs to be most of the time, while calling in a flight platform on that rare occasion when it needs to fly from point A to B, and it coul
