Wow those are some strong feelings. But I feel like they’re being aimed at maybe the people who aren’t really responsible for your friend’s displeasure with her job. And maybe your friend should find a new job. Perhaps Long John Silver’s, where everything is deep fried fish so it all looks and tastes the same so

So are you sahing that Costco dogs are only available with yellow mustard? I’m a Costco member but never tried their dogs - usually too tired after shopping there. But yellow mustard kills it for me.

Streeter?!? What are you doing here? I thought you were at that other place. I guess like me you just can’t quit Jalopnik cold turkey…

It’s a longshot. I guess there’s a trademark claim there...maybe defamation...

I remember that plumbing truck incident, but what’s with the Domino’s car?

I could never be bothered to concoct a drink with these ingredients but I will definitely hunt down this gin.

They pretend to be fond, but behind their suburban closed doors, they still cry at night.

Agreed. It’s fine out of the box but what really makes it great is that the Civic can be upgraded for anywhere between a few hundred and a few thousand dollars, and get some real improvements in handling and horsepower. Sure that’s true of other cars, but not to the same extent as the tuner community of the Civic.

At some point this went from article to story to rant to just plain boring, and lost me.

Jersey Mike’s just moved to my neighborhood and is causing quite a stir. Apparently they’re not being great neighbors, leaving trash out on the streets, attracting rats, refusing to clean up their mess. It doesn’t help that this is Brooklyn, where we already aren’t particularly fond of things from New Jersey, and it’s

Thank you for that explanation. I am now down a rabbit hole of home racing sim gear :)

I know very little about sim racing, but I’m curious. One thing I don’t understand though: wouldn’t the 11nm be a disadvantage in a race? I get that it helps immersion but it seems like it would make it physically harder to steer. Or is it negligible and just feels more realistic and therefore worth any tradeoff? I’ve

Increasingly people are choosing meat-free options for environmental or (supposed) health reasons. Cross contamination isn’t really an issue for anyone but the hard-core vegetarians and vegans, who probably wouldn’t step their cruelty-free Birkenstocks in a Taco Bell anyway.

I don’t much about this PPEI thing, but it does seem to me that the President should be riding electric. I mean, how far does that thing drive a year - 20 miles? Could probably charge it once per presidential term.

Meanwhile these same companies use all sorts of exploits in their tax avoidance schemes. Can you really blame the “little guy” for finding a loophole that gets him a half price burrito?

Seems to me its the ability to order one taco that’s really the root of the problem. I wasn’t aware one could do that at Chipotle.

It must depend where you live - a Chick-fil-A “deluxe” chicken sandwich cost $6.89 where I live, compared to a Chicken Shack at $7.89. The new spicy one is more expensive but it’s also arguably a different class, as it also has bacon.

Shake Shack’s chicken sandwich is the best alternative for people who don’t want to support Chik-Fil-A’s bigotry. I’m excited to try the spicy one.

I think it still comes down to storage density. Light and tiny batteries are important for cars first and foremost, but nobody wants a battery in their house that takes up 1000 cubic feet either.

I’m digging the roof line, but the side windows seem oddly small and don’t compliment the profile. This might be one of those designs you have to see in person to appreciate.
