I just started playing a couple of days ago and yes, it’s slow but it’s also beautiful. It’s like a prettier version of Minecraft, but in space; you start out with very little, you explore, mine for stuff, craft some stuff, learn how to craft more stuff, and go find more stuff to craft with... at least at the start. I

It’s easy to blame the boaters because, well they look like a bunch of chuckleheads and because it’s Florida. But honestly that’s a pretty poor design that doesn’t incorporate some kind of safety system to prevent anyone from being that close, and that doesn’t have some kind of sensor or camera to warn the bridge

Adjusted for inflation, gas in 2007 would be $5.42 in today’s money.

All of these recommendations are really more dirt oriented adventure bikes. Why not go with something a little more street oriented like the Ducati Scrambler or the Guzzi V7, or maybe even a BMW R nineT? I’m sure one of those can be found lightly used in the price range.

That’s where I went to college but I haven’t been back in a looong time. Actually was thinking of going down there for my anniversary this year but it wasn’t a good time what with the pandemic. Probably will go this fall, and will definitely stop by one of those locations!

I know that the dirty-water-dog is the most ubiquitous form of hotdog in NYC, but I don’t think it’s fair to highlight that as the definition of a NYC hotdog. There are plenty of better examples in the city from delis and specialty shops, there’s Papaya King/Gray’s Papaya, and of course there’s Nathan’s which sorta

I lived in MD for awhile and never had one of those but it sounds delicious.

I’d be curious to see a comparison of the portions, especially for Chipotle. I use the “hack” where I ask for the taco meal with the tortillas on the side (and some extra tortillas). That usually results in a bigger portion of meat and toppings than if they actually construct the tacos themselves, and it’s enough for

The problem with any survival food is that it goes bad eventually, especially the more off-the-shelf stuff. Beef jerky, for instance, has a shelf life of just 6 months to a year. It’s better to have either some seriously long-term preserved food (10+ years) that is just in case of emergencies, or to have a bunch of

Okay maybe it’s just a NYC thing but Gray’s Papaya/Papaya King really should be a nationwide chain. I lived on those dogs in grad school; two hot dogs with kraut plus a refreshing papaya juice or pina colada for $2.25....okay, this was a couple of decades ago....

This is the one thing that I think most places in New York do wrong. I’ve lived in New York longer than I’ve lived anywhere else (more than 20 years) but I still demand to eat them open face. Sandwiching them together and cutting them in half medially is just wrong.

One country, united by Ranch.

Oh I can’t believe I missed this! I’m going to blame kinja because, honestly it’s sucked for a long time but recently it’s gotten worse. Seriously this might be my last post…

If you can wait, Rivian has R2T and R3T trademarked....they just have to make 120,000 R1Ts first.

I don’t even know why we’re having this discussion when Candy Cane Joe Joe’s exist. Especially the chocolate covered ones.

I’m sure it does but this article is specifically about how the car will be available globally.

Taking another crack at the Equus again? I can’t see this doing any better. Sure Hyundai has been doing very well recently with some of their models, but the dealer experience is still shitty and the design language of Hyundai in general is all over the map. They are flailing about, and happen to have landed a few

That’s right - the Smart FourTwo had the exposed frame. I liked that look.

Funny you should say that, because I’ve often thought that VW should make that panel in the back swappable, and offer it in different colors. It would be a fun way to customize the car.

The Mazda 3 hatch? With its lumpy fat rear end? Almost as bad as a Veloster.
