Yeah I think there’s some real value opportunities with the only-slightly-older F-Types. I’ve always been a Porsche guy too, but if I were shopping now I’d have to at least give an F-Type a spin.

I guess I was more focused on the “special” part but I guess you’re right - not spending as much as a C8 (presumably not a base 1LT) seems to be the main point.

$60k buys a pretty nice Jag...

IS? Why not stretch a bit and get an LC?

Yeah that’s what I’m talking about; for some, even those tattoos that one might not have gotten in retrospect still represent who they were and what they prioritized at the time.

I get what you’re saying - some tattoos we can predict with near-certitude either are already regretted or will be soon, especially those that probably have no meaning other than “I got a tattoo!” But to call out someone else’s tattoo as categorically “uncool” while representing that one’s own tattoos are cool just

Eh. People get the tattoos they think are important to them at the moment. Sometimes later they regret that decision. I don’t think it’s anyone else’s place to tell them their tattoo is “uncool” because who are you to judge what is or was important to a person?

CR-V.

King of the Baggers is like a speed skating match between overweight geriatrics.

You don’t negotiate your phone purchases? You probably don’t negotiate your groceries or your gas bill either.

You do know they’ve been making car exteriors out of fabric for a loooong time, right?

It’s been said that all teenagers are sociopaths. Not condoning this murder, but there’s a reason we have a different penal system for people under the age of majority; to a large extent, they cognitively lack the ability to understand the consequences of their actions.

Are you implying that that someone would post misleading information on social media just for the likes and lols?

Still a billionaire dick-wagging, but at least it’s doing some good.

Why? That’s like saying you don’t understand why Toyota would create Lexus instead of just using the brand equity they already had.

Given the Polestar 1's classic lines, I’m hoping that Polestar 3 brings some similar design elements.. maybe a lifted P1800 shooting brake vibe? Probably too much to hope for from a “full-size SUV.” But at least it doesn’t seem to have a fastback rear end that seems to be the trend these days. I prefer my SUVs more U.

As a white person who goes apple picking every year, I love this line.

Like BMW and their boxer twin, the engine is a big part of the brand, and that probably does limit them from exploring some designs. But I don’t think that means they’re stuck in the past - certainly a lot of their recent bikes have been very good and good looking. If I were shopping for a bike today, I’d be looking

There’s something a little 750 Nighthawk about it.

It’s not even mid-September and we’re talking about Halloween? What, is The Takeout in the palm of Big Candy? Put this article under embargo until Oct. 1st.!
