I wish I had that attitude.

It’s not just about the budgets though, it’s about the personalities behind the show. A lower budget doesn’t decrease the outsized ego that Clarkson has developed and the entitled smugery that comes with it, or the tendency to overproduce and overscript everything. Early shows were low-budget and folksy, but you can’t

Oh my. Someone’s a little sensitive, aren’t they. Maybe eating a little more balanced diet will help you unclench.

So triggered! Some folks here respond to criticism of food as a criticism against them personally, and respond with ad hominem attacks. Lighten up, Francis.

I love the design - it’s the Electric Defender that Land Rover should have made. It’s pricey but I’m guessing this is just is just a result of being a low-volume manufacturer. It’s not for everyone, but if I had the money I’d choose this over any other electric truck in the making.

I’m not sure why you think you are entitled to an answer to your clearly rhetorical questions, but I’ll give you an answer anyway; yes, I’m against processed foods in general. I wouldn’t eat any of the things posted above even if they were made with real fish. But I do have particular scorn for synthetic meat products

Maybe you should consider becoming vegan. You’re already there with the self-righteousness.

Not sustainably managed ones, which many are.

There is nothing remotely healthy looking about any of those products. If there is one thing that our bodies are designed to eat, and which is still available in an unadulterated, unprocessed form, it’s fish. Good ol’ hook-and-line caught fish. Support your local fishery! Eat more fish!

But, why Alaska when you could choose Hawaii instead?

Exactly. And by creating this big bubble front they’ve really undermined visibility even worst than the Cybertruck does. The Canoo actually has three pillars in the line of the driver’s sight. Terrible design.

Ugh. Can we stop with the “because reasons” type headlines? Is it that hard to add the word risk?

It’s a fun idea - I mean, any sportback, or even sedan for that matter, is a potential pickup with a very short bed, so why not have a slide-in camper? But the reality is that these probably just aren’t as practical as a light towed camper or a rooftop tent.

So what he’s saying is that he thinks that F1 teams should be able to run cars with obsolete technology so that they can profit more? I don’t think so.

I had a 1968 Chevy Malibu - not the cool one with two doors and a 396ci V8 engine, but the four-door one with a straight six that put out 140 hp when it was new and didn’t burn a quart of oil with every tank of gas. A very forward girl at a party asked me out, and when I picked her up in the ‘Bu, she was clearly

Never let the truth get in the way of a good story.

You didn’t mention any vehicle being involved, which leads me to only one conclusion;

“If they took off half the patties, I would totally try it,”

Do you not know how fast food works? Burger King (like any other fast food chain) has their standard patties; they have their 2 oz and their 4 oz. They’re not going to make a big 1 lb patty just for some specialty burger. Not only would that involve a different inventory item, it would require different cooking
