A taco isn’t a sandwich, a hot dog is a taco.

You’re quite right. I love their fruits (grapefruit is my favorite). Definitely a different texture than the bears.

They are good (I have some in my pantry right now!) but I wouldn’t put them at the top of my list. Are they agar agar based?

Self edit: I think I missed a big one - Turkish Delight. Or maybe that’s too soft to be considered a gummy?

Similarly, have you tried Haribo raspberries and blackberries? Those are some of my favorite candies, though they are a little too sweet.

So Skittles is going gummy.... but what kind of gummy? I’m guessing it’s the what-has-become-standard-gummy of Haribo Gummy Bear and similar. But there are other (and better) gummy textures. Personally I prefer gum drops/Chuckles and Swedish Fish to the Haribo style gummy. I hope Skittles at least does something

No, the left calls the far right Nazis and the right calls the left Commies. And there are far more on the far right who might not say it out loud but who don’t hate the Nazis, or at least their “principles than you think.

Everything is so integrated now, I think changing in the system is difficult. Car companies are most concerned about new car buyers, and they are usually only holding onto the car for 3-5 years. What happens after that for most car companies doesn’t matter, unfortunately.

I think the theory there is that the car, especially with the ANC, is too quiet to provide audio feedback about what the engine is doing. And that’s kinda true. Acura is marketing the car to people who want a sporty ride, and people who like driving do it with their ears too - to hear what the RPMs are doing, and

Yeah I’ve heard that. Luckily it’s pretty easy to disable.

I was strolling in Brooklyn on Saturday in the hours after Biden’s win had been declared, when I saw a Wrangler about to pull out of a parking spot. It was lifted, with huge tires and a couple of other customizations that made it look very much like the kind of vehicle one might find a Trump sticker on. The guy

Yeah, my 2020 Acura RDX supposedly has active noise cancellation. I don’t know if it does much good, but it’s there. For some reason, it’s part of the same system that pipes in engine noise, which I would disable except that doing so would get rid of the ANC and I don’t want my car to be any louder.

But wait, if that’s true, how can I be outraged that a white woman is wearing a hair style that’s only supposed to be for black women? /s

Never put it on anything.”

My first car was a year from before I was born - a 1968 Chevy Malibu that my grandfather sold me. So I’d probably go with something that shared some lineage but improved on that;

I’ve been really good about eating habits for the last six months, but today I broke down and had pizza for lunch and followed that up with an afternoon snack of chips and salsa. I didn’t realize I was stress eating until I was about halfway through the jar of salsa. Chips are my go-to stress food.

It works. I got some whole legs the other day and chopped them into their various pieces and cooked ‘em up Korean style. The thighs were a little messier to get all the meat, but it’s still a very rewarding piece of chicken.

I made some a couple of weeks ago. Delicious!
