UK Netflix has no Matrices at all, and only Men in Black 3. We do have Into Darkness, but not the original reboot either. Do you have either Kill Bill? Edit: We had part one only for a while, but that's disappeared now.

The only better thing about Amazon is being able to go back 10 seconds without it stopping playback.

But everyone knows depicting something is exactly the same as condoning, encouraging and excusing it!

I'm entirely dyscalcular (dyscalculic? I dunno) and I can barely add or write down a four-digit number, let alone do fractions. So all people who can calculate tips are like wizards to me.

This is exactly my situation. Maybe I need to get rid of Netflix, but that idea scares me.

Some weeks I go to three or four at the cinema, some weeks one or two. Rare is the week I don't go at all. You can definitely do it!

I was gonna post exactly this.

This list is very cool and it justifies my long running crush on Mr Gray Gubler.

Cool, thanks! I remember deciding not to go to Fruitvale Station when it came out, because I thought it sounded sad. But if I can find it I will, it sounds like I should.

It's not as bad as that, but it's kind of underwhelming. There's some good bits and some well made bits but overall it adds up to less than what it promises.

It's more OTT Oscar bait than fine, to be honest.

I've not seen any Rocky films. Shall I see Creed (it comes out here on the 15th) or is it better if you've seen the others?

Ooh, I started it and was loving it, then something got in the way. I might try again this year.

I think " I get the feeling I'm supposed to care precisely because of the situation itself " is exactly right. If Carol were a male character, what she does would seem depressingly sordid; that's not to say that gay characters must be perfect, more the presenting of it as a perfect love story is a bit disingenuous

I found both Carol and Brooklyn to be pleasant enough to watch but I didn't really care much about either of them. Maybe I'm just too miserable to appreciate sugary sweet romance with a 'well it was tougher back then' coating.

hooray for slightly tedious but overall pleasant-enough if unremarkable costume dramas.

Really? I work freelance so could work from anywhere. Hmm…

Charlie Hunnam and Alan Shearer are the only other pop culture Geordies I can think of, and Shearer doesn't count really. but I looked and apparently there's hank Marvin too.

It's not odd, cos that film was dreadful.
