This is a reasonable point, just so long as we never have to endure Skye/Daisy showing up in films (or other series) too.

they always fail to understand that, and it's extra sad because showing relationships developing in and across groups of people is one of Whedon's biggest strengths.

yeah I wish they'd have her side with Cap/Bucky whilst still being involved on the intelligence side with the larger picture. double dealing would be more interesting for her.

Eeee! this is awesome.

Hmm
Another Period would work well, because you'd pick up on a lot by seeing it all in one go. Same goes for You're the Worst and Silicon Valley I reckon.

I feel like I should feel bad about the fact that I think this show sounds terrible, and the more they hype it on here, the less I want to see it.

But that's it - I now have hopes. I need to remove them but without it feeling artificial.

you will love their stuff. as people say below, do see it in conjunction with eg Svankmajer though.

Oh gosh what if Stan passes away and they have to digitally recreate him for cameos. By the time we get to, I dunno, the depths of making Whoever in the Nova Corps Hasn't Had Their Own Film Yet by 2028 it'll be getting silly. Or global warming will have killed us all, one or the other.

sorry yeah you see people nowadays saying 'androsexual' and 'gynosexual' to try to refocus the description on the gender/sex of the people being desired rather than using the 'homo-' and 'hetero-' prefixes, because 'same' and 'other' are too defining of the person feeling the desire. like if someone changes gender

I would love it more than anything if McAvoy would sing 'I Can Make You a Man' in this

I quite like that kind of sulky pissed-off thing he has going on.

they should have got Tom Hollander instead.

oh Tom. I still love you but you are better than this.

this is causing a paradox for me. normally I go and see this sort of thing - Last Witch Hunter, Seventh Son, Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter, the Wolfman, Hansel & Gretel etc - expecting them to be absolutely terrible. Sometimes I'm proved right (AL:VH) which at least isn't a disappointment, and other times having the

eh. I'll see the film because I'm a sad old woman and I really fancy both Affleck and Jesse Eisenberg. it's escapism with a bit of pathetic androsexual-gaze lecherousness. telling me stuff about all the nonsense behind it just makes me feel sadder.

honestly, I worry I'll be dead before all this ends and then I won't know how it ends and that's all that's keeping me going at this point.

She'd only take off and nuke it from orbit, just to be sure
