I honestly don’t know why anybody bothers trying to humiliate a man who has no shame. Detractors are probably right that giving Trump the light of day in any situation just helps him stay in the public consciousness.

I’m interested to see how this one will play out. IMO, the books have a lot of amazingly cool sci-fi/physics ideas in them, but are otherwise terrible in ways that might play into Benihoff and Weiss’ own storytelling flaws. Feels like it might well end up a mess, but probably quite an interesting one, and maybe the…
It’s a really fun show that has a lot of “Northern Exposure” in its bones.
It’s a rare show that can pull off this kind of terrific absurd comedy but also have so many great serious and moving scenes. My wife and I are currently rewatching the first two seasons before we start on S3.
We’re close to finishing season 2 right now, and the show IS very fun, but it has very, VERY stupid writing at points. I’m not talking about the alien stuff or anything, or the pacing, or whatever. Like certain plot points only happen out of very forced convenience or defy all logic.
SPOILER ALERT FOR AN EXAMPLE
If only they tried a promotion that ended with a bunch of vintage disco LPs being blown up after the game.
The balance this season seems to be better than the first two. I can’t put my finger on it, but the comedy aspects have gotten sharper and the B plots haven’t stolen the momentum as much as S1 and early S2.
Too bad he’s so ugly and stupid!
Well, I thought that “white apartheid” covered that, but you’re right. Having a father who owned a part of an emerald mine during apartheid and running out of storage for the cash (literally) is quite an important part.
And so was Trump’s mom.
You forgot one of the other most important characteristics, rich.
One fascist loser to another: Want to help out a fellow grifting fascist?
I thought it was an interesting adaptation of There and Back Again.
The struggle and chase was the story. The plot was enough to get the events in motion.
this is the worst opinion i’ve ever read
Hey everyone, it’s that guy!
Sometimes the spectacle is the point, not the plot. Just like the Mission Impossible or Fast & Furious movies. Or anything made by Baz Luhrman. It’s made to entertain our inner child who just wants to envision a much-more-radical world for a little while.
Did someone piss in your cheerios again?
I’m more of a Larry Hemsworth fan myself.
