It’s grown on me over the years. I think a shifting of focus to Siona, Duncan, and the various plots against Leto by Ix and the Face Dancers could compensate for the soliloquizing by Leto.

I mean, they look cool, but none of that coolness ever trickles into an actual production model.  It will be the same few trims with the same boring-ass colors.

Hybrid Mavericks should be the only ones over MSRP.  Even if an Ecoboost is listed over MSRP, the wait times are down to only a month or two if you custom order at MSRP.  While I waited a year and a half for my hybrid, even that wait looks like it’s down closer to the 6-8 month range of late.  No reason, unless you

Maybe it will work out. Madsen was gone soon after Panera’s acquisition by JAB, so he isn’t to be blamed for the nosedive in quality at Panera. They were always overpriced, but any innovation stopped cold once they were bought out.

If only they tried a promotion that ended with a bunch of vintage disco LPs being blown up after the game.

The balance this season seems to be better than the first two.  I can’t put my finger on it, but the comedy aspects have gotten sharper and the B plots haven’t stolen the momentum as much as S1 and early S2.

That reminds me of highschool. My best friend and I wanted to use Estes rockets to power a toy car. We went through quite a few iterations before we got something that didn’t flip upside down, just spin in circles, or take off in random directions.

Have had my Maverick less than a month, but love it.  I had always ruled out a truck, based on price and had my heart set on a hybrid to replace my 16 year old Wrangler, so the truck part was a bonus, as was the price.  To validate the mileage part, my two tank measured mpg figures were 42 and 45 with a pretty even

I’m past child-lugging age, but I do have a Maverick.  My guess is that it will be tight if you are nominally tall (+6 feet).  It isn’t the smallest back seat, but seeing how large car seats are these days, it could be a squeeze.  The nice thing is that you can actually see one on a lot these days and give it a test.

Rachel Dratch?

When pretty strict religions cite food insecurity and environmental sustainability as well as their religious requirements,  I feel a little conflicted, but also hopeful that someone isn’t just dismissing something because of lobbyists.

So all the Hondas, Toyotas and an F-150.  Is the F-150 that reliable when the rest of the Fords aren’t?

Interesting. My wife and I just finished and she liked it much less than I did. After a couple of episodes, she was expecting something lighter and a spy show with romance stuff. She wasn’t in to a relationship show with some spy stuff especially after shit got real romance-wise.  I have a gut feeling that I like the

It either recaptures some of that mid-80's zeitgeist a la Maverick or totally sucks.  Even if it’s middling, it’ll be better than 2 and 3.

I wish they had just stuck with the earlier reason suggested by their science advisor. His suggestion was that the sun has a Q-ball (chunk of dark matter) lodged within that is inhibiting fusion and could be dislodged by their nukes. Because it is super stable, it would be impervious the sun’s fusion and could

Could never get into First Watch.  The menu looks like it would be some pretty flavorful fare, but with that breadth of ingredients, they’ve managed to extract all possible flavor.

Swan Song is the Great Value version of The Stand, but maybe it will have better luck in being adapted.  Trying to summarize it the novel, you realize it’s kind of disjointedly batshit.  If they lean into that, it could be interesting.

I liked the churros even though they weren’t really churros.  At the very least, they should have been one flavor and not the chocolate/non-chocolate double helix they were.

Would have made a good Hugo Weaving stand-in.

Contamination.  Anything that makes it through the atmosphere directly will have been blasted by the heat of reentry and whatever interaction occurs with the medium in which it lands/impacts.  Anything frozen, whether it be biologic or otherwise, would be vaporized from the surface or chemically altered by the heat.
