My best experience is buying a Chevy around 1999-2000.  It was the early days of internet car buying and I look on it fondly because I remember nothing of the experience.  I remember every (of many) hours I’ve spent in a dealership since, so that says a lot.

This bullshit.  I was ticketed by a cop for running a red in Normandy (was one of those late yellow, but they don’t care) and got a red light camera ticket for the same thing by Velda City cops.  I actually got out of both, one for jurisdiction and the judge let me out of the other on principal after I showed both.

Put thinly sliced fresh garlic in when you start the browning and by the time the butter is browned, the garlic will be crunchy and toasted brown. Found this out accidentally, meaning to make garlicy butter and ended up with something better.

Kill it with fire.

Does the bridge of the Invictus remind anyone else of the bridge of the Event Horizon?

Quien esta en la primera?

There’s probably a comedy bit to be mined there with multilingual equivalents to Who, What, Where, and I Don’t Know, but Fox viewers would be outraged at having to learn anything other than taco, burrito, and quesadilla.

Fox viewers love humor built around one syllable words.  That’s about all they can wrap their heads around.

The double-down thing is prevalent across all celebrities these days.  If ‘Swingers’ taught me anything, doubling down isn’t always the only choice.  Why is it that self reflection and change is such a liability?  Unless he is sincerely threatened by that community, but why would he and folks like JKR have such an

I wonder if expansion is the problem. We visit relatives and started hitting the Springfield or Bloomington locations and the quality wasn’t what it once was. Haven’t been to a Chicagoland location in 7-8 years at least. That is also the time frame they sold the chain, so who knows which is to blame.

Agree.  The dogs aren’t quite what they were.  Their italian beef still rocks though.

Do I think the board wanted to get rid of him? - Yes.

Nothing stings more than adolescent shit talking, especially if you are an adult and they’re right.

He plays earnest oatmeal really well though.

They’re a lifesaver, especially after you learn how to use one.  My son’s car had a vampire drain that we figured out with my HF cheapo.  Tedious as fuck to find it, but eventually did.  Was disappointed that our mechanic couldn’t find it, but I suspect he just threw a diagnostic tool on there instead of doing the

Yeah.  Emily’s talking out her ass on this one.  She should at least read the Dune Wikipedia before half-assing some clickbait.

Yeah. Feyd was only a year older than Paul. It would have to be someone similarly aged to Chalamet, but dynamic. There was a rumor early on that it was Tye Sheridan, who I don’t think is that dynamic. The kid from White Lotus, Fred Hechinger, is pretty hyped right now. Also David Mazouz from Shazam has shown a bit of

Weird that they didn’t even mention Feyd in the movie.  Seems like it would have been good groundwork to start building him up in part one.  Fenring isn’t particularly interesting other than his backstory as a failed Kwisatz Haderach, but his betrayal of the emperor at the end is a key moment.

I’m excited to see casting for Feyd.  I wonder if they are going to throw in Count Fenring.  I like the character, but he and his wife were introduced by now in the books.

You have to watch it as three different shows, really. S1 was grief porn and Lindeloff leaned a little too much on the ‘mystery box’ ethos of Lost. S2 was excellent and one of my all-time favorite episodes of TV with ‘International Assassin’. I thought S3 stuck the landing and knowing they had an endpoint, they were
