You are correct in equating colors and flavors and not attributing any actual fruits to them.  I was at a snack bar last weekend and they asked what flavor Gatorade I wanted and I answered that it doesn’t matter.  They are all nebulous manufactured flavors that have no basis in actual plant matter.

To anyone who watched past the middle of season 1 - Does it change, tonally?  We had trouble deciding whether it was supposed to be funny, sad, uncomfortable, or a combination of all of the above.  Whichever it was, up to that point it didn’t seem to handle the changes deftly.  We wanted to like it.
