There are usually better resources for garage sales and estate sales.  Estatesales.net is good and I forget the one my wife uses for garage sales because I’m particular to estate sales.

I used to work across the street from the convention center where they had the annual Southern Baptist convention. I’d argue that any outfit that is comprised of the same color shoes, socks, pants, belt, shirt, tie, jacket, kerchief, suspenders, glasses frames, and hat is too much of any color, no matter how tasteful.

I know. I’m (pale) white and my wife got me a sunflower yellow shirt once. It made me look like I took a bilirubin suppository. I love the color, but can’t pull it off.

I posted twice about something to give away and about who maintains a busted ass subdivision sign.  Both threads went really racist, so I had them not only cancel my login, but purge my account.  With my job, I didn’t want anyone to stumble across something that might look like I instigated or encouraged.

Fucking Nextdoor.  It was kind of useful for a while, at least in our area, then it became the MAGA hangout where everyone posted about sightings of coloreds on their block.

The two most pleasant parks I’ve watched a game in are Safeco in Seattle and Coors in Denver.  Both were easily accessible and wonderful views to which you could space out during the game.

We regularly went to weekend morning showings back when we had kids and general admission was prevalent. While it was nice to have a quiet theater, we mainly did it to not fight for seats and because more families took their kids in the mornings.

They didn’t mark the reprint on my visit, only when I passed the checker.

Agree with some points, but I assumed King’s Landing being in a desert might be more a product of removing anything of value outside the walls in anticipation of a siege. They would want a clear field of vision and nothing the enemy could use for construction or food.

Good advice. Old Aquaboy would love to go back and tell young Aquaboy not to buy that house in a shitty school district. We loved that house, but were forced to move when our first kid hit high school. Life moves fast.

We used the same agent 6 years ago that we used 20 years ago for our first house.  She made more money the second time around for sending us hyperlinks.  We ended up finding the house we eventually bought and would have bitched had she not given us a break because she was our selling and buying agent.
