Back in the day Mariah Carey could sing and had more range than Adele. It’s too bad for whatever reason (age, not protecting her voice?) it’s not there anymore.

Hence being called singers. Lip syncing and voice alterations really annoy me. There are so many amazing musicians who don’t resort to it and honestly don’t need it. At the same time I don’t think MC can belt them out like she used to. I have a suspicion that she ruined her voice at some point hitting those high notes…
