You and me both. I am having heart palpitations over here.

Usually to try and get more than just the loudmouths participating.

Really windy with a lot of sharp turns.

The only thing I know about the Kardashians is from Dirtbags, but Kourtney’s Michael Jackson costume is on point, and I also remember her posing for something in a tux or suit or something when the rest of the family chose ballgowns. Color me intrigued. Based off this scanty information, I find her more interesting

(Deleted: Kinja posted my comment to the wrong article. D’oh!)

I am so sorry for what you and your family are going through. Hugs.

KAI-FUCKING-RYSSDAL! *swoon*

Living the dream! Thanks for sharing your experience!

I am all about it. My husband and I are finally in a place to start realistically doing this and it’s exciting to do things differently.

I’m really sorry that happened to you.

“You saved that no for emergencies.” Yes. This. I am glad yeses are being looked for now, and nos don’t have to just be for emergencies.

I think enthusiastic consent is important for men too. Boners don’t mean a man’s frontal cortex is on board with having sex. I’ve talked to men who’ve been super unsure about if they were taken advantage of or not.

Oh, yeah. This guy was a slimy weasel. But I think it jibes with the whole “take a chance” narrative of the time and, “Let’s see where this goes.”

I dunno. When I was growing up, it was just no means no. In the last, oh, 7 years or so is when I remember enthusiastic consent being talked about. And weird shit went down when I was in college and kind of everyone was OK with it or glossed so much of it over. I think not knowing about consent, but waiting for a no

I WANT THAT LAST DRESS SO BADLY IT HURTS! I AM HURTING!

You are right that it does sound odd, but I interpret it as a hip word choice to exaggerate comedic affect. Reminds of me Jon in The Daily Show. It’s a vernacular I’m familiar and comfortable with, and also where she cut her teeth.

It’s two sentences, so it’s not a double negative.

A girl I went to high school with was married at 15. As a junior or senior, her husband was hoping she’d agree to have kids. It was super bizarre, but she acted like it was totally normal. I wonder what happened with her.

This is a really great statement and I totally understand the concept you and Clooney are wrestling with and how unsettling it is.

Hugs. I am so sorry.
