Quick fact: There are no rare earth in a pure EV. (A confusion that comes from hybrids that use NiMH batteries and PM motors)

The grid while less than optimal is better than most people give it credit for. What makes the grid lousy is it as a whole, but since you are not going to give up electricity for your home, the

It is a battery plant, battery was committed.

No it will not, part of the upgrade to Ludicrous mode is the improvement of performance at upper ranges. So you can do that ludicrous acceleration even from 30mph rolling, not only from 0.

I am a little confused by the video, the specs he quotes are of ludicrous mode, but in the video he clicks insane mode. Which one does he have?

The issue is they are overlaying 2d on top of 3d. Generally when you make all 3d or all 2d, it is less of a problem. But when you mix them things tend to stick out.

I thought it was said it can go off-road?

The gun lobby has gone to great extremes to not even create a middle ground. I mean there was a measure about making sure guns don’t fall into the hands of terrorists. And even that fell through.

Well you could also reduce the aggressiveness of regenerative braking, but it makes more sense to get used to it. But for those that can’t.

Yes it is an AWD car. 1 motor in front and 1 in back.

He is a space cowboy! As seen here: (not photoshopped)

I agree, that part was awkward, 1 minivan made sense since he used it for demonstration but the other car, not so much.

It does NOT take out the option, it just makes it a bit more complicated, but the option is there. Question is who will build that option, Tesla or OEMs. There are 3 options though, see below:

It is possible, I have seen 3 possible designs to make it work, the question is, will it come from Tesla or would OEMs have to make them.

Ok, serious question this time.

Does it fly? or come with Falcon 9 accessory for space travel?

What about passing safety? I can’t imagine them doing well on side impact. Or what if the car rolls over and dies, how would you open those?

Where would the battery pack go then?

Reminds me of this pic I saw:

The design you see here is not the final design, that said its no Pontiac Aztec.

It is motorized but it has sensors. People open doors and ding cars all the time, because people don’t have sensors.
