No mention of Father Noel Furlong?
The video seems to show why you want an experienced and trained officer, he clearly shot center mass and protected someone in urgent danger. This is why police train, to make the right decisions, not pull out a taser that turns out to be a gun and kill someone. Your average person could never make that shot.
Nearly every initial press account of this incident- which was based on the secondhand accounts of family members- was completely contradicted by the bodycam footage. Heres a picture of the dead girl about to plunge a six inch knife into the woman in pink

Sufferin' succotash, that's a lot of Sufjan!
I mean, cheap liquor, lottery tickets, blunt wraps, and dozens of other “bad for you” items are specifically targeted at black people. Are we planning to outlaw all of them too? Plants are racist. The climate is racist. “Whiteness” is a societal disease that needs to be eradicated. Is there anything black people take…
I read that article yesterday and came away with only the vaguest understanding of what went on and what went wrong. A very poorly written piece.
Morons gonna moron. That’s what The Root is. It should be called The Toot.
Hate to break the spell, but it appears the race of the murdered victims was not a motive. But I am sure it makes you feel good to think otherwise.
Ah look the racist is butt hurt
Wow, you must be a blast at parties.
We need the FDR Party
I feel like this lays bare a lot of the foolishness with this whole fiasco on Fisher’s part:
I was in complete agreement with everything you wrote, but you lost me with your disgusting taste in book covers. The only true Star Wars book is the one that recognizes Lobot as one of the main protagonists.
He also hid the death of thousands and aggressively tried to convince people to cover it up. Is that enough?
I am also a Gen Xer who saw the movie in the cinema when it was released — and, as a kid then (I would have been either 9 or 10 depending on time of year), I hated it too. Although it has been almost 40 years, I still have no desire to watch it again (or to have my kids watch it).
My jam that summer was The Thing, which I went to see five times.
Gen X here and I also hated ET, but mainly because I was expecting Star Wars level action...shoot, even Star CRASH level excitement. My mom and sister were both crying and I can remember being incredulous.
Whats crazy is he voiced a redneck on The Cleveland Show
