A fair question on both sides, but I think the original dude is on to something.

Original ZL1 was a COPO car. There were 69 of them. It was produced, rather reluctantly, for a single year.

Aside from the rejuvenation of the badge in 2012, and the 69 examples of COPO cars, has there been another ZL1?
Would like to see z/28 return to practicality. ALWAYS loved that badge.
Lol!
I don’t know man, everybody knows what a Shelby is....
Shelby also has more of a pedigree to the name.
I think heel toeing in everyday driving is the right way to drive a manual, no?
M3 is not as desireable M2 in my opinion. C63 also has more emotion than M3. I think this generation was a bit of a miscalculation, but I don’t know the sales figures so probably talking out of my ass again.
FAKENEWS!
I’m a nitpicker too. Historically favour M5, but E63 just looks so much better.
What’s everybody think? ZL1 or GT 350. I love them both. I seriously wouldn’t know how to pick.
Nah. My life would’ve been just fine without.
Ohhhhhhh. Not a scholar of the American civil war, so I read Wikipedia to figure out who Jefferson Davis was, and yeah, they should totally rename that highway.
I think the boxster is in a class of its own. Close to automotive perfection, pure bliss. Drive one and you will realize that it’s possible for a car to care about you.
BMW could do a bit of retro. The z4 concept is nice, but it needs more of what you posted.
Nice! But I would still take the convertible for this class of car. I feel much more affinity for boxster than Cayman too.
If it sells, then a coupe, and probably M, would come too.
Debatable. It’s more special because of its place in history, really because it was such a shocking piece of technology for the era, but I couldn’t debunk an arguement that the newer generation of supercar is better. They have some serious cred, and look a lot better too.
