I would love to see Lewis out-Lewised.

As long as they’re tracking the car, then I’m surprisingly ok with it going in to the wall. We all take issue with the d-bag hat wraps it in cherry pink chromaflare and drives it up and down the entertainment district on a Saturday night. Fuck that guy.

Hard to get excited about Bottas. Friggin boring personality.

Ricciardo has to get out from Max’s shadow ASAP or his career will be sunk.

I think enthusiasts are looking for the mythical 300hp, manual transmission sedan with A/C, power doors, and leather. That fucker is hard to find.

I hesitate to criticize because I currently drive an automatic ATS-V, but they’re doing it for marketing. Every m3, 911, AMG, etc, etc, is being sold as some kind of advanced track monster that can beat the other guys’ product around the Nurburgring. If these cars were all going to be raced, then I get it, but

Manufacturers: Ok, we get it. You want a manual transmission in a more luxurious model.

He had a couple shitty starts that screwed the race. If he beats Nico one or two more times, he’s champion.

That’s not what I mean. He had reliability issues, but there were other races where it looked like he had checked out. It’s striking when we also see him able to shove a humiliation victory down rosbergs throat whenever he wants. What gives?

Agree that Lewis did exactly what he was supposed to. Can’t criticize his strategy. He’s still a shithead.

If he could just keep the douchbag attitude in check, everyone would be able to throw their weight behind him.

Lewis is a shithead. There was no chance of him doing anything other than he did. At least everybody knows what to expect.

When Lewis is trying, he is untouchable. Not sure where he went at times this year. He lost the championship more than Nico won it.

I hope the competition is mixed a bit. I have no problem with MB, but is like to see another 2 teams on equal footing.

That would be in very poor taste. Hope they just leave it alone instead of being pricks.

Agree with everything you say, except Nico being top flight. He’s top 5 right now, maybe, but not a generational talent like Lewis.

You can’t criticize Lewis for trying. Anything could have happened that made the strategy work.

Yep, what was Hamilton supposed to do? Ignore the only strategy that had a hope of stealing the championship? I don’t think so.

Lewis is a child - agreed. However, MB should not have issued any kind of directive. They had the constructors title and there was no danger on anybody but a Mercedes driver winning the championship. It’s a pretty clear sign that they wanted Nico to win - who is an ok driver, but a lame champion.

That’s a very strange position to take. Hamilton worked his ass off to get pole and be able to dictate terms. Anybody that has ever seen a race knew what he was going to do. Nico should have driven better to get the pole, so that he wasn’t in a position to contend with the ONLY strategy that made sense and risk
