Lewis is a child - agreed. However, MB should not have issued any kind of directive. They had the constructors title and there was no danger on anybody but a Mercedes driver winning the championship. It’s a pretty clear sign that they wanted Nico to win - who is an ok driver, but a lame champion.

That’s a very strange position to take. Hamilton worked his ass off to get pole and be able to dictate terms. Anybody that has ever seen a race knew what he was going to do.
