I suspect you are a lawyer, in addition to being a transformer :)

It all depends what they said and to whom. If Ferrari were lacking in discretion, they might have a real problem on their hands:

“You get me one denied, butt-hurt Ferrari bro on that jury and we’ve got a case.”

Have you seen his picture, or read about how he made his fortune? Trust me, he's fabulous.

Seems like a legit case. I bet he ends up getting his Ferrari to make this disappear.

“In 1983, in a white Porsche 935, Henn won one of America’s most famous automotive endurance races, the 24 Hours of Daytona. He repeated the performance at Sebring in 1985, and again at Daytona. His teammates included racing legends A.J. Foyt and Al Unser, Sr. In 1984 he placed second at Le Mans.”

I can see why you would think that, but nothing is further from the truth. F1 cars are some of the most complex machines on the planet. Every single fin, winglet, or bulge has a purpose that can make or break every other part of the car. It's incredibly difficult to get it right.

Maybe the reason that halo didn’t succeed has something to do with its inherent inadequacy. I hope they are withholding to give time for something better.

And those canopies will end up being something else for aerodynamicists to exploit. It would be awesome to see some little team like Manor figure out a way to exploit it and steal the championship.

“Being at the peak of engineering is a tradition in F1.”

Yeah, but why would anybody be such a fucking douche that they would put this on their car?

Only asking because I honestly don’t know.

And one, perhaps both, isn’t available at any cost.

I’m only posting a response because you were a were a real self righteous prick to that other guy. Here's a dose of same.

Agree that it looks good. I'm just slightly concerned that they went for aesthetic over a functional back seat.

I find this no different than other things one might do with themselves, by themselves.

None of whom drove trucks through crowds because their religious leaders encourage them to kill everyone.

Tesla admitted the problem in their press release. There are fatal gaps in the system. It’s serious enough to warrant the CR statements.

That your point about people’s ability to analyze the situation critically just isn’t true.

That’s all well and good, but what does “level 2" mean to the average consumer?
