Sad reality, but probably needs to happen more frequently. It seems kind of false that there are teams on the grid that have no hope of ever being competitive. It's like running a different class of car at the same time.

Can’t say I blame the teams though. Having a top tier driver in a Manor may improve their average finishing position by one or two places. They’re still out of the points and next to last. Might as well take the guy that will have you finish in nearly the same spot, but also give you the budget to remain on the grid.

New BMW 340i xdrive. Went to dealer pretty sure I would buy one and left feeling appalled and empty. I’ve never experienced such a lack of personality in a car that everyone rates. Sure, it was great in every measurable way, but the way it gets there is completely devoid of emotion.

0:07, right hand side. Cars and coffee just let out:)

I don't care what anybody says, Tom Cruise movies always satisfy!

It's the jarring nature of the whole thing.

Come on, don’t be so hard. This guy is THE best driver with tonnes of track day experience. This is attributable to a variety of factors. First, the temps were cool (low 80s). Second the traction control snapped the car out of his hands - you can see how the wheels were turned slightly to the left in opposite lock,

Really? I never realized this before. So, what you’re saying is that it’s a race to be first and that teams want to make money? Shocking.

Anyone can try to rush the front - that's video game BS. The difference is that champions find a way to make it stick.

Yeah, but just imagine how popular it would be if someone spray painted “cheater” all over it.

Heinous.

That one passes because it could be racing livery.

I agree with you to a point. Yes, Nico was bumbling and it’s just yet another example of how he’s his own worst enemy. He will definitely not win the championship this year, or any.

This was Lewis trying to play head games with Nico. If it works, Nico crumbles for the rest of the season, just like every other year. If it fails, everyone piles on Nico because Lewis has some kind of immunity with the fans that is difficult to understand. I find both of these guys such drama queens, and can’t wait

If you want to see how a pro handles the situation of being squeezed, Google Ricciardo on Vettel, monza 2014.

I don't think you can say that. Nico surely has a chance of making the corner on a defensive line. Lewis had no chance since the only possibility of a pass involved two wheels on grass.

Yes, the Mercedes BS is all a bit of a snooze fest. It’s like watching reruns of bad sitcoms.

If Nico gives up that corner, the season is over for him. He can’t risk losing the psychological battle again.

True. That was the opposite situation. Nico took a real beating on that one and it crushed his ability to fight the rest of the season. I even recall boos on one of the podiums over the whole thing. Pretty disgusting double standard, but I guess Nico just isn't a fan favourite. He is a little bland and hard to like.

Yes, that's what racing drivers do to make the challengers job more difficult - you're only getting this corner if you can take the long way around.
