Best show ever! Can’t wait till it’s on netflix. Or better yet, can’t wait till the remake!

I thought that too because helicopters just seem unnatural, but I never hear of them crashing outside of military accidents - and I don’t think that experience is applicable to the civilian world, but correct me if anybody here knows otherwise. I was surprised to learn about autorotation that spins the blades and

I like the idea of opening up the regs so that there is more than one way to succeed. I don’t care much for imposed rules like forcing the teams to use every tire compound, but I do like the idea of a tire war. The DRS bit is interesting, but would probably only group cars up instead of letting them pass. Perhaps it

Agree. Faster cars that are harder to drive, implemented any way seen fit.

Agree with you. Probably Lewis would still be the top driver with those rules, even though I mildly dislike his attitude and want to see him lose races.

Even that transmission seems a little specific. It should be limited to more general information like “Lewis, you need to save fuel” or “brake temps are too high” and let him sort out how to do it. Giving specific info about what to do seems like coaching.

Or say something really cool and novel that has never before been echoed in the world of formula 1; something like “multi 21.”

Get rid of dual clutch gearboxes and let the driver skill play a bigger role.

Get rid of restrictions on engine updates and testing. Offer customer cars to smaller teams - or get rid of the smaller teams that really have no chance under any scenario. Limit radio to emergency communication only. Go back to pit boards with lap differentials and pit stop windows.

Probably aquaplaning on the under side of the car.

That pcs metro girl was really in to you! Where do I get a skyline?

Doug, is that car any fun?;)

Ooo Ooo Beretta...

What are you talking about? That thing had cab forward design technology, man.

I remember thinking that interior was the height of luxury at the time. Strange round headlight thingy, asymmetric steering wheel pilars to showcase the latest safety technology, obusforme like seats. Man it was great to know of nothing any better!

The average one was crap, but I always had a strange affinity to the sho version.

Actual car was awful, but days of Thunder race version awesome!

The Malibu has the worst gas pedal placement of any car I've ever sat in. Tucked to the extreme right behind the centre console. I couldn't believe it was real.

I just took for granted that people buying these cars intended to keep them. Not true?

I’m reading that they initially said “don’t” but Hamilton questioned the decision because he saw the Mercedes pit crew out on the trackside screens. He interpreted this as a sign that Nico had pitted and would come out on faster tires. Lauda is saying that there was mass confusion on the radio around the decision.
