What I’m reading is that he assumed certain information to be true, without confirming, in his decision to challenge the teams’ instructions to stay out. He thought everybody had pitted and would be on faster tires, so he wanted to do the same. Combined with the team screwing up the gap, a comedy of errors ensued.

Keep telling yourself that, just like all the other “best” drivers in the world.

I don’t think you’re insane. It’s a HUGE step up from accord. Price seems about right. Daily driver ability is a bit of a hard question since it depends so much on your needs. Ultimately, I didn’t Cayman because I’m 6’5” and found it a little cramped. There’s also a big difference in usable interior space and trunk

I think you intended to reply to the guy above me. I’m on your side.

Yep. Thems the rules.

Yes, but sporting code would dictate that you offer up a third game to resolve the dispute.

Love both cars, but bought a 911 instead. I think it was best summarized by Jeremy Clarkson when he said something to the effect of corvette being the equivalent of wearing assless chaps to the queen’s dinner party. It all depends how you want to go about your business. Both are superb!

Maybe. I guess it doesn’t really affect me when both cars sell very well - you can pick either one and be happy.

Best feature: no more stamped shark gills in front of the rear wheel - or did they already do that with the last update?

I know this is really cynical, but I hope these are pictures of the lesser RS models, because they REALLY look like RS models. Am I off base?

Comparisons are essentially useless. These cars are engineered to be within a few decimal places of each other. It all comes down to the brand you prefer, but having a blast in a batshit crazy muscle car is guaranteed!

I’m traditionally a Camaro guy but my list goes:

The effect when sitting inside is pretty cool. Feels like the bat mobile, or a tank. Have to be careful with backing up, but safe if done safely.

I went 180 degrees opposite to you on stingray. Thought it looked like 599 at launch and now it just looks so plain that I wouldn't even consider.

Agree with you on looks. It’s a cool car, but really hasn't achieved at the same level as the mustang....even though it has some elements that are really similar.

That was funny, then I realized we don't get to hear that anymore:(

Nah, it’s just smug. I’m happy for him, but he still has a LONG way to go before considering himself Hamilton’s equal. Been a few seasons since I last saw a driver that was so clearly a “number 2”

It didn’t seem particularly offensive. Only thing that pisses me off is that they were round - we’re not seriously doing that again, are we?

I guess Nico just needs to do better then...which I would like to see since I am no fan of Lewis' usual attitude either.

well, I guess if winning a Grand Prix is as easy as qualifying first, Nico better try harder to win the race on Saturday.
