Actually now that you mention it, I agree that Rachel/Sam would have been really interesting, particularly if it was written so that she "replaced" Finn with Sam (since Sam was regarded as Finn's backup throughout the series). They'd have to explore the difference between moving on and just finding someone else.…

Is deferring mid way through a degree not a thing in USA or something? Like I could up and leave my degree right now if I so chose and come back in two years time to continue.
