Value as a collector’s item has two parts, though. There’s the value you give it, and the value others give it. I agree that if you’re hoping to sell at some point, wearing it hurts the value. But if you’re not, it doesn’t; you have a “rare” item, and you get to enjoy wearing it whenever you want.
