He didn’t say that Alston shouldn’t have been offended by it. He said that once the error was discovered, it was remedied with termination of the responsible employee, and as the tampering of the machine occurred after hours, it’s not something that would be expected, and hence not something that would be looked-for.

Whatever the reason, it looks sinister as FUCK and I love it.

This is the BEST Superbowl commercial ever!!!!!!!

If this is a consideration for you, you shouldn't be flying.

This was a genuinely good slide show. There are some pretty good story tellers who visit this site.

Don’t have any of my pictures so the ones below is a stock. My wife and I went to the Faroes last summer and the roads were mostly 1 lane (on cliffs) with little pull offs about every 100 m. If you saw a car coming and had one on your right, you stop there and let the other person pass. If it is on their right, they

And the speed limit is 80km/h on those roads.

And just a little ways down from Vancouver, in Washington, it seems like even though the zipper merge is what’s supposed to happen, people merge way early, and then you have road rage at the people doing the zipper properly, plus of course the occasional asshole who goes around people merging at the proper zipper

Agreed, this on (Chassis #101) is the first of four Eagle F1 cars built, and it’s distinctive in that it was fitted with the 2.7 4-cylinder Climax engine rather than the V-12 Weslake that was intended.

The hedline is incorrect. As in factually wrong. It needs to be fixed.

Last of the V8 Interceptors... a p p p piece from here and a p p p piece from there. Puts 600 to the wheels.

In addition, significantly larger on the inside than the outside, which is always handy...! ;)

I don’t think parking is an issue for the driver with this.  It might be for everyone else in the parking lot, but not for the driver.

From a very early age I used to watch Speed Racer Cartoons. This car would be a great daily especially with all its gadgets fully functioning.

I went to movie, still have the movie program and ticket stub.

The Cosworth DFV 90° V8 is the winningest racing engine of all time, and it looks great and sounded great, so I’ll go with that...

Missed one. Understandable because it’s pretty obscure even by 90s scifi standards, but still, BSG owes a lot to Space: Above and Beyond

You mention all these shows and just happen to forget Deep Space Nine? C’mon man! :)

You just compared The Expanse to Star Wars? A show where people live by the rules of physics versus a franchise where people fly faster than the speed of light and fight with laser swords...

Always a thrill to see an article about the Ridley Scott Superbowl commercial.
