Racecars are so hot right now.
I drove out to Houston and shot another roll of some pretty stunning Art Deco cars and Motorcycles at the MFAH. (All images Tri-X pushed to 800)
The Lonestar Round Up is an annual hot rod and vintage car show in Austin Tx. These images were shot with my Nikon F3 on a single roll of Kodak Tri-X 400.
Manual focus, that is. I was disappointed that most of my best compositions which I shot with the medium format camera did not turn out. Nevertheless, here are a few of the 35mm images from my backup camera:

Found an artist whose work reminded me of your stuff
...and look at this. This is the most perfect automotive artwork I have seen in my life. Simple, elegant, gorgeous. The artist is Emmanuel Mergault (buy his stuff here). Since his prints are done by hand, they are fairly pricy for a student budget (anywhere from 100-200 for most and 500 for the larger ones) but the…
