Neighbors had pellet stove for years. They converted to electric heat pump. According to them the heat pump is cheaper per month. Also gives them AC in the Summer.

Hopefully your tenants don't resort to electric room heaters. Some are better than others. They put a strain home electrical connections. Especially if they use a power strip.

ICE fires are typically extinguished with the water onboard the average Fire Truck. EV fires require significantly more water than a Fire truck carries. The need for a national system of Fire Plugs along Interstates might become necessary when some threshold of vehicles on the road are EV.

Turo is great for weekend test driving. Cheaper than purchasing a vehicle to find out it will not work for your needs.

Still no National network of Fire Hydrants to provide 25,000 gallons of water necessary to combat the average Electric Car fire.

Watched zero coverage of the memorial service. It doesn't pay my bills. It doesn't appear any laws are broken with whatever is happening with deleted coverage. One hour is probably enough to put in King Charles Memorial service. He's in his 70's. Statistically he doesn't have much time.

Renting a car in Hawaii is easy. Never a problem.  There are times I have rented a car in Hawaii and other locations yet took a taxi for one reason or another. Avoid Hertz.

Make EV’s equal or better than ICE. Using policy for EV adoption could make it worse. Innovation and availability of EV’s will allow lower prices. Also need to solve EV fire suppression. Current EV's need on average 25k gallons of water. Not easy on many highways and freeways.

Gas prices are still up. Per AAA, September 2021 average price was $3.18 per gallon. Winter arrives soon for Europe. All energy prices have the ability to go up dramatically due to Ukraine/Russia/Nordstream. If China eases up on Zero Covid policy the worldwide demand and pricing also goes up.

Inviting the state to power cycle the vehicle battery seems an easy way to wear out the battery. California and other tag along states assumed banning all ice cars will make the electric future happen. Is there enough world resources to build the electric future?

Local Honda dealer has had nearly empty parking lot for some time. No idea how they pay their bills.

Diesel more expensive in my area for sometime.

V6 Ram/Dodge/Jeep Diesel had some problems. Programming, emissions and general reliability. Expensive to repair when broke.  Gas engine lifetime costs were cheaper. That's saying something considering the Hemi V8 has its own set of problems.

1996 Dodge 2500 passenger seat adjuster broke. Used bailing wire to repair. The dealer wanted $1000 for the entire seat base mechanism. When I sold the truck showed the new owner the repair and pointed out the dealer cost for the repair not including labor. He laughed. Bailing wire stayed.

4runner. It's very reliable. Takes me to the beach and the mountains. Still worth what I paid 5yrs later.

There was a person that did warn against Russian energy reliance. He was wrong about other things. This one he was accurate. https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/2018/09/25/trump-accused-germany-becoming-totally-dependent-russian-energy-un-germans-just-smirked/

Have not seen one EV manufacturer recommend the fire blanket. Typically they recommend large amounts of water. If the Fire Blanket works it would help the problem of EV fires in the middle of nowhere.

I ask rental companies if they have minivan upgrades available. Plenty of room for luggage. Plenty of power ports throughout. Usually have mid row captains chairs. Latest crash protection.

EV adoption also increases the need for fire hydrants along all residential, highway and freeway roads.  Have not read one article discussing the increased water needs for EV's. EV fires average 25, 000 gallons of water. ICE is around 800 gallons to extinguish a fire. EV fire on a freeway presents significant

This seems like the villain Christopher Walken played in a Batman movie.
