Manual cable controlled hvac. Rarely broke. Manual seats. A few vehicles still have it. Electric motors always break. Manual seats typically last the life of the vehicle.
Why buy expensive oil? Burn the cheap stuff.
Paid Msrp for our new Wrangler 5 months ago. 10minutes down the road another dealership is selling Wranglers above msrp. There are one or two dealers towards the East Coast selling Wranglers at 4 or 5% below msrp.
Buy the Toyota that fits the budget. When budget considerations are no longer an issue then buy the BMW/Jaguar/Audi.
1999 to 2004 Oldsmobile Alero. Bought new. It needed new calipers, rotors and pads on all four corners every 6k miles. After three rounds of complete replacement dealer informed us the next round was on us. Traded it at a big loss. Oldsmobile going away ruined the resale.

I lemon law’d a 2014 Cherokee. It wasn't great. Replaced it with a 4runner which has been flawless.
Hybrids have always made sense for right now. The electrical grid can not handle full electrification. Will probably need to mandate heat pumps in their respective climate zones. Ban crypto currency generation. Maybe build some more nuclear power plants.
